Its an
old and correct saying that if you choose a career based on what you like, you
are very much likely to do well in your professional career. But if you do
something following to others and not putting your own brains, then surely you
will have a tough time achieving more than mediocrity. Today students are more
inclined towards doing something different and new and thus look for creative
options.
Talking
about new careers, then there are a lot of them, which includes Graphic designing, animation, cosmetology, Archaeology, Gemmology, forestry and
wildlife conservation. I am pretty sure that a majority of you must not be even
aware of these options. Well, this is majorly because these professions are not
hyped like other mainstream professions. But, with increasing competition in
mainstream, there are a lot of students, who are making their way towards these
professions. In fact, to come to my surprise, so many b-schools in India, which
have taken initiative and are offering certificate and degree programmes in
these professions. Those, who want to do something different, can try out their
hands in these career options.
