Move over paper, new polymer notes are here for usage !

Polymer banknotes are designed from a polymer known as Biaxial Oriented Poly-Propylene (BOPP). These notes incorporate many security features that are not available on paper banknotes.

They last significantly longer than paper notes, resulting in a decrease in the environmental impact and also, a reduction of production and replacement costs. Many countries like Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Kuwait, Canada, Israel and Brunei has switched to this form of currency for security reasons.
