School; Amit Gupta who is an alumnus from the Design school has started his
own company in the field of MARCOM and has been remarkably successful in the given
field. He launched “STORY” in the October 2006 and now heads the business whose
turnover is 10 crores.
Amit Gupta has done his graduation from Mayo College, Ajmer and then went on to
do his specialization course from WLCI
Advertising and Design School, Delhi. Amit had been an exceptional student
right from the beginning, recounts his mentor Bhavana Baveja. Amit had always
been involved and a hands-on designer and his live projects drew commendable
appreciation from all around.
He passed out from WLCI in 2003 and started his traineeship with Ogilvy and Mather as a Visualizer. His creative ideas and robust attitude quickly got him his due appreciation.
After his traineeship he joined “The Ramp” as an ‘Events Manager’ and after his stint there he joined the ‘The RAMS’ as its Business Development Manager.
After acquiring invaluable experience and service knowledge, in October 2006 he launched his own company “STORY” in the field of MARCOM. He started his company with a meager investment of Rs 20,000 and now it has Rs 10 crore turnover.
His company “STORY” offers the following services:
- Marcom Solutions
- BTL Planning and Executions
- MICE solutions
In a confessional tone Amit says:
“My profile here (STORY) includes ensuring the smooth functioning of various
verticals of the company; namely marcom, people and care. I am
responsible for maintaining the motivational levels of my team members and
ensuring the consistency towards reaching the extrinsic and intrinsic goals
given to me. Financial targets, Client satisfaction measures, Team Management
etc.”
About STORY he adds: “More than offering what client wants,
STORY ends up creating a highly trustable and productive entity of itself. I
have learnt, harnessed and maintained the beauty of standing tall as a
consultant from being just a service provider. In days to come, I, along with
my team should be able to swiftly increase industry penetration, increase our
pie (not by eating others but creating opportunities) and emerge as one of the
most reliable brand to progress with.”
Surely Amit Gupta will go from strength to strength in days to come and WLCI Advertising and Design School wishes
him all the best and hopes his “STORY” would also inspire other students to
excel in their respective fields.
