Many
Design Schools students participated in this festival and one of them being WLCI
Design School and one of their ex-students ‘Harshavardhan’ got special mention
for his project “Loo Culture”.
He
presented a project-on ‘Loo Culture’ in India and explained that “Loo” is a
slang used for the toilet, his interest in Loo culture occurred during a
conversation with a German backpacker in a bustling Indian bus heading towards
Sanchi. This is when he discussed about the Indian squat toilets and the
inadequate facilities in the railway toilets. This idea got him and also got
him into thinking and probing about the Indian Loo Culture.
Harshavardhan
also volunteered for the ‘Nirmal Bharat Yatra’ and designed the ‘Volunteer’ program for the project. Hashavardhan is a
visual installation and 3D artist who finds new ways of expressing his creative
streak and artistry.
WLCI Design School wishes Harshavardhan all the best for his future projects.
