WLCI Design School takes a look at the Japanese Manga Technique

Manga Technique is one of the most inherent techniques of line drawing and shape formation which was specialized by the Japanese fine art industry. Drawn only with outlines, Manga is the characteristic of Japanese-style painting made up of lines that seem three-dimensional; drastically simplified and yet it forms curious profoundness.
Managa is an art form in which expressive elements:
  •  Drawing,
  •   Typography,
  • Graphic design and
  •  Panel layout which are highly integrated.
These are the expressive techniques which hold true for Anime, and make it a sophisticated art form. In an extraordinary degree of expressive power of ‘Manga’ and Anime that brings out the distinct mysterious realism. The animation industry especially the Japanese one has been profoundly influenced by this ‘Manga’ technique and has also spread in other parts of the world like United States wherein many cartoonists have imbibed the same to create cartoons/ characters using this technique.
